The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) is preparing to arrange a total of 46 bus routes to Sanam Luang from 23 to 31 October 2017 to facilitate the travel of the people who wish to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The Government will officially open the Main Press Center (MPC) and the International Broadcast Center (IBC) for the Royal Cremation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to facilitate the operations of both Thai and international media during their coverage of the Royal Cremation Ceremony.

People in Thailand and aboard are invited to offer sandalwood flowers as final tributes to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the Royal Cremation Day.

The Government has assigned relevant agencies to construct replicas of the Royal Crematorium across the country for the Royal Cremation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The Government will hold a month-long exhibition in remembrance of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, after the Royal Cremation Ceremony, which is scheduled for 25-29 October 2017.

The Treasury Department is producing commemorative coins in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of the Royal Cremation Ceremony, 26 October 2017. Thailand Post Company is also producing commemorative stamps for this historic event.
