The Government has been granted royal permission to produce and sell commemorative pins for the Royal Cremation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
A total of 40,000 commemorative pins will be available at the Government Public Relations Department (PRD)’s Auditorium on Soi Areesamphan, Phahonyothin Road, on 22 October, before the Royal Cremation Ceremony.
More commemorative pins will be put on sale at the exhibition, to be held at Sanam Luang ceremonial ground between 1 and 30 November, following the Royal Cremation Ceremony. Each person may purchase not more than two pins, both before and after the Royal Cremation Ceremony.
As of 1 December 2017, reservations for the pins will be accepted at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office, at official hours. For more information, please call 0-2283-4301 and 0-2283-4319 to 24.
Reservations can also be made at Krung Thai Bank in Bangkok. No limit of pins is set for reservations. Each pin is priced at 300 baht.
Those who reserve commemorative pins can receive them from 8 January 2018 onwards at the place where they ordered them. In the provinces, reservations will be accepted at the provincial administrative offices, or other designated areas.
Proceeds from the sale will be presented to His Majesty the King for royal charity.
